Is there anyway to speed up the processing speed with Interact Builder? It works quick on the first couple pages, but with every page it gets slower and slower, when I start to get to the back of the book (page 10 or 11), it's so slow that I watch a movie at the same time so that I don't lose my motivation to keep working on it.

I have no idea what that involves and it's probably a long term issue, but it would be such a boon for user experience if you could eliminate the down time.

Thanks!!!

The processing speed depends on how many elements you have on your current working page and also on how your CPU is used.So if you have opened for example another 5 processes and you work on a page with let's say 40 elements, InteractBuilder will act slower. [ALIN]

What Alin mentioned above is very true.  We are working on this very issue for version 3.4 and hopefully you will find the application performing better.  Once 3.4 is out we would like to hear from you again to see if you are still experiencing any speed issues.

I have a new macbook Pro with plenty of speed. I usually have photoshop, interactbuilder, and firefox open. At the moment I am working on a drawing page with 50 elements and the program is having trouble even selecting an element. It takes a couple minutes to select one element. I keep shutting down the program and re-opening to see if it helps. No luck.

I have no trouble running Photoshop quickly at the same time.

Agree, there seems to be some real problem, memory leak or something. The builder sometimes practically hangs, regardless of how many applications are running. I run only the builder on a pretty strong Windows 7 machine, and in time it gets impossible to work and I have to restart the application.

I look forward to quicker speeds with version 3.4 Ezra...I figured that was the case, but I guessed you would rather have the information than not.

I'm so pleased with all the other good things you guys have put together. Thanks!

Please keep the comments and feedback coming we can't improve without it.  I actually was unaware of the issue, apparently others on my team were :).

Thanks Ezra, I've also have had intermittent problems with performance, but assumed it was because I was pushing the limits.  I've found that I can only get away with 3-4 mid-sized animations on a page before it slows the program down to a crawl.
