Sharing issue

Laura Stout 10 years ago updated by Alin Alexandru Matei 10 years ago 5
I am trying to share a new version of my app to my iPad.
It keeps showing the old version instead. I have uninstalled Interact Player and downloaded again, but still not working. The "sharing" folder on my hard drive has the correct day and time.

In the "sharing folder" there should be a folder named by your app's name containing a MainFiles.zip and some other files.
Also do you have the latest update of  InteractPlayer on your iPad?
I see that my "sharing" folder does not have a .zip file in it.
I think that other times when I've shared, this zip folder is created.

Hi Alin,
Yes, I have the latest version of InteractPlayer. I downloaded it again.
This is what my sharing folder looked like in the past when I successfully shared. There is a zip file sitting outside of the Alphabet folder:

This is what it looks like now:
I don't have a zip file outside the Alphabet folder.
I do see a "MainFiles.zip" within the "Alphabet" folder:

Try this, make a copy of your app, change it's name and tell us if you managed to share the copy of your app with all the updates on it.
Thanks Alin. I will try this later this evening (don't have access to Builder right now).
I just downloaded the new update to the InteractPlayer, and am able to share again.
I did not need to duplicate and rename my app.
