suggestion: updating psd files

Melissa Lind 10 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez Ezra Weinstein (Administrator) 10 lat temu 3

When updating psd files, reflect the changes of elements that have been moved. I don't even know if it is possible, but it would be such a time saver.

Thanks!!

Currently, if an element has been moved in the builder, then when the same Photoshop file is imported again, that element gets the new position that it has been assigned in the builder. Is your suggestion that an element that has been moved in Photoshop should have the new Photoshop position?

Yes. It's quite the chore to move everything around. I end up just erasing everything and importing again, but then I lose all my interactions. It's far easier to move things around in Photoshop than in the builder, which is not as receptive.

I can see why you'd want to keep changes from the builder. But if you are updating a file from photoshop it's because it has changed and I'd think you'd want it to reflect all those changes. It's just so easy to make layer changes and move things around in photoshop. It's a lot of work in the builder.

The argument can be made in either way, there really isn't a right or wrong way to handle this.  Some people would get upset if they moved things in the builder and their photoshop import overwrote these changes, and vice versa.  For now we will stick with the current implementation.
