IB 4.0 | Defects - Existing Application

Pardesi Media vor 10 Jahren aktualisiert vor 10 Jahren 10
Hi,

I upgraded my app with IB 4.0 and while verifying found quite a few defects (around 12).
The app has already been downloaded more than 10,000 times so I do not want to publish an update on iTunes/Google Play until these are fixed. I cannot create a feedback ticket or send screenshots and steps to reproduce for each one, so is there a way I can do screen share with someone from DEV/Support?

Thanks.

Hi Adeel, wait till the 4.0.2 update comes out later today and then reconvert your apps. Most or all issues should be resolved.  To convert again you will have to delete the file interactapp.rdb and the folder called "Player" from the app folder.

There is a bright side... 10,000 is very encouraging for the rest of us :-)
For sure :) Ted.

I am very much looking forward to upgrading apps to IB 4.0 as it will improve the performance greatly/reduce size, which were the two points reported by users.

Wow Adeel, maybe I want to buy your app too! :-)
Thanks Ted, it helps focusing on a niche area and of course I keep switching between Free and Paid.
One day Adeel I might hit you up to write a blog article about your app and its success.  And definitely the new engine is much better, just make sure to let me know if after the update you run into any additional issues.
If Adeel prefers, I can conduct an interview with him by email and write up a distinctive blog post - would save him some time from writing the whole thing. Just a suggestion because I am very curious about how they designed a successful app. too!

Hey Ted, sure I would love to share my experience of building with IB and the marketing mechanism I used for my apps. I will be out vacationing in Houston for next few days so can get back to you after that. Thanks for the offer!

That's so great, Adeel! I will be in touch with you soon. Ted :-)
Ted,

I just launched IBHelper.com where very soon you will be able to find information such as marketing techniques, app store optimzation and tracking etc., both in blog and video tutorials format. Apart from that there are of course templates and assets available as well that can be used in IB!
