When I import a template page it takes all the original layers and adds "copy" onto the layer name.

In that case, it would be SUPER cool if the program didn't tag on Copy to every element name because I can name something attach a behavior and action, and then import a new element with the same name and keep the actions and behaviors intact.

And it just looks cleaner in my layers box:)

Thanks!

ok...still thinking. I use the same drawing template and layer names for different pages. Can different pages in the same book have the same layer names? Or does interact change them?

Now that I'm thinking about it, I get why it has to be a copy, because you can't have more than one file of that same name in the book. I guess I just can't use the template like I was thinking I could.

OR, maybe you could highlight multiple elements from the layers list to delete at the same time. I'm trying to salvage a difficult template that took me days to create. It's slow going.

The extra layers that it creates are white blocks so I can't always see them except in the layers panel.

What I was doing was reusing a drawing template for three different pages. It was only applied once. The drawing elements are the same but the elements in the page change. I applied the template and then uploaded the unique photoshop file.

Is it possible for the template to be applied without changing the layer names to copies of the original. What may have happened is that I was expecting the page to be updated with the psd file using the same layer names, but because the layer names were different it keeps creating duplicates of the same elements.

I mean "invert element"

Thanks, I have been using those effects. One of my older books had a great effect that dragged with the finger instead with a timer. Does that make sense?

I'm getting layer changing errors every now and then. I can't seem to replicate in a page I can send you. Don't know what other details I can give you. I just shut down the program and restart.

That works. My new suggestion is that the box doesn't automatically close after hitting apply. I've got a whole box of crayons to program.

Thanks Ezra!
