
Interactive animation
Animations in InteractBuilder are created by a sequence of image files. These are triggered by an interaction such as tap. Once triggered, the animation activates all images in the sequence at the predetermined rate.
An interactive animation, on the other hand would be activated by dragging. as the finger drags from left to right the animation progresses. When the dragging stops, so does the animation. Dragging from right to left will run the animation in reverse order.
This is analogous to the "image sequence" function in the Adobe DPS, or a VR object.

Trouble viewing app in Interact mode in IB4
Updated to the Bug category after comparing with another one of my apps. The other one gives me a solid black screen when I click on its icon on interactplayer.com.
So I can view neither app. Please advise!

Toggle Action
Suggest a toggle action, i.e. an on/off function.
Would be very useful for switching visibility, sound, movement etc. on and off.

We will be adding a new element type Button in version 3.5 of the app expected release towards the end of this year or early next year.

Interact player in iPad not working
Interact player in iPad not working at all. Canot enter in the catégories. CAN get to download an app the button does,nt work.

Might be related to our iOS7 fixes. We will get this resolved ASAP.

Quiz behaviors
Built in quiz behaviors could greatly enhance the educational functionality of Interactbuilder. For example the following types:
Multiple choice questions
Match pairs
Arrange objects in order (big to small, fast to low, etc.)
Fill in the blanks.

Actually most of the examples that you are mentioning can be implemented using the current software. I think it would be a good idea for us to create some samples of these to show the community how this works. I will ask my team to work on some samples.

Tapping through a transparent layer
I want to be able to click the visible part of an element that is behind another semi-transparent element.
For example in this screenshot, the girl is behind a wave. I can only click on the very top of her exposed head, whereas I expect to be able to click her entire visible body:
I know is is per-pixel tap test, but still...
If there's a way around that - please advise

The best way to handle this is to add a transparent element in front of the image of the girl and add your action set to that element. This is not a bug because transparent elements can have action sets and the transparent part of an element needs to be clickable.

interact mode hanging scenario
Ok, here is the setup:
two elements:
Element#1 action is to fadeIn element#2 (2 sec)
Element#2 action fades out itself (2 sec)
Scenario (interact mode hangs or significantly slows down):
Click Element#1 (to show element#2)
While Element#2 is being animated (faded in), click it.
First, it will not fade out, not even after it is fully shown. Second, other items in the page will not interact, or interact slowly.

This issue will be addressed in version 3.2.2.

The new update of InteractPlayer NOT working on iPhone


Animated frame element only plays once on tap
Animated frame element will not play if tapped again. Only plays once on tap. I have a .png sequence set to animate on tap, no looping. Works fine on first tap. After animation stops playing, if element is tapped again in Interact mode, it does not play again.
I also tried reseting the Replay Count to either 0, 1 or 100 under Behavior Options but element still will not play on second tap. Here are the settings I'm using.

See enclosed app. We cannot recreate the issue you are reporting. You can see in this sample that every time you tap the butterfly it animates.
